i had a conversation with joshua mcginnis
not me, but the other one. you know – the former chef who shows up on page 2 after doing a search for “joshua mcginnis”.
i’ve never met anyone with the exact same name as me before, but it was interesting. the reason i contacted him was because he owned joshua.mcginnis@gmail.com which i mistakenly did not register back when i was first invited to gmail.
i offered him several non-monetary things in exchange for the account (like a lifetime @joshuamcginnis.com e-mail address). but he declined. nevertheless, we started chatting and turns out, he lives in california and has a friend in boston. isn’t that weird?
he’s going to be visiting boston sometime in the future at which point i might meet up with my other self … i mean the other joshua.
