i’ve been thirsting for the canon eos 5d mark II for a while now, but at ~3K, it just hasn’t been feasible.

well, i was reading gizmodo yesterday and they announced the eos rebel t1i which is BASICALLY the same camera, just cheaper.

features:

• $899 with kit lens, $799 body only
• H.264 video capture @ 1080p/20fps and 720p/30fps with mono sound
• DIGIC 4 processor
• Nine-point autofocusing
• 3.4fps burst shooting for 170 JPEGs or 9 RAW files
