QuickBase Support

We’ve been tossing around the idea of revamping the support section of the QuickBase website for some time now. Yesterday, I took an hour and mocked-up what I thought could be one version of the support page. If you look closely, you’ll see that I borrowed from both the TurboTax and the Apple support sites.

This is a print ad I created for the 2008 National Small Business Summit brochure.

When I started with Intuit back in December of 2007, the first order of business was to launch a new QuickBase website. The site was old, stale, and hadn’t been touched in years. There was also a crew of marketing folks ready to finally leverage the website to grow QuickBase.

So I moved the site to a new host, setup the site on PHP/MySQL backend, and finally redesigned it to what you see today.

This mockup is a proof of concept design of the Jabbify web chat client. Jabbify is a new start-up that makes a pretty neat instant messaging client that anyone can put on their website. Since Jabbify’s launch, I’ve been providing basic design consultation in my free time.

Intuit Workplace is the soon to be center point of everything QuickBase Developer Program. It needed a new website before a major press release so Rob Keohane (QuickBase UX Lead) and I put together a homepage last-minute.

In this particular piece, I did the markup and CSS while Rob worked on the design.
