webex api php wrapper

Tags: , , , , , ,

i did some work this week with integrating webex into the quickbase website. as a result, i ended up putting together a wrapper for the webex xml api in order to speed up development time.

if you’re going to be using webex with php, check it out.

it doesn’t have full support for all api methods (yet), but if there’s enough interest, perhaps i’ll keep building on it in my “spare” (ha) time.

basic examples of usage here: http://blog.joshuamcginnis.com/2009/04/quickbase-php-api-examples/

this was just too funny to pass up. tim geithner tried pawning the blame on turbotax for not paying his taxes.

we actually responded with a press-release, which basically says that he is lame.

i was strangely and pleasantly surprised to get an e-mail this morning to find that ekibot had won 3rd place in the “social good” track of ideajam.

excerpt from the e-mail:

Thank you so much for your efforts and fantastic ideas and presentations!

We have 15 entries in the first ever Social Good track. It was a really, really hard decision to pick the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners …

I would encourage you to use any of the folks on the cc line or me to help in taking your idea to the next step.

3rd Place (TIE)
ekibot (Waltham) – we loved the idea to inspire small individual action, the ability to move “savings” into an account for a particular goal, and the social networking element!
